chi è ernesto petti baritonoErnesto PETTI, born 1986 in Salerno, started his studies under the guidance of Otello Visconti, graduates
from the ‘Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento Torre del Lago Puccini’ and continued his studies within the
‘Centre perfeccionamento Placido Domingo’ in Valencia. He does his very first operatic debut in 2009 as ‘Eagro’ in Gluck’s ‘ORFEO ET EURIDICE ’ at the Festival ‘Valle d’Itria’ in Martina Franca, followed by ‘Dancairo’ in ‘CARMEN’ at the San Carlo Naples and does his first steps on opera stages in some other small parts, before making his debut as ‘Giorgio Germont’ in ‘LA TRAVIATA’ in Lecce in 2015.

During season 2015/2016 he debuts ‘David il Rabbino’ in Mascagni’s ‘L’AMICO FRITZ’ in Piacenza staged by Leo Nucci and conducted by Donato Renzetti, in concerts sings excerpts of ‘Nabucco’ and ‘Macbeth’, and in summer 2016 debuts at the Teatro Lirico Cagliari as ‘Giorgio Germont’.
In autumn 2016 he debuts with great success ‘Renato’ in ‘UN BALLO IN MASCHERA’ (coproduction Piacenza, Ravenna, Ferrara), again staged by Leo Nucci and conducted by Donato Renzetti, as well as ‘Orlando’ in ‘NOTTE PER ME LUMINOSA’, Marco Betta’s opera, presented in world premiere at the Teatro Comunale in Modena, and again sings ‘Renato’ in ‘UN BALLO IN MASCHERA’ at the Teatro Lirico in Sassari.
In 2017 he was again busy with ‘Notte per me luminosa’, this time in Piacenza, with his debuts as ‘Enrico’ in ‘LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR’ at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, as well as ‘Paolo’ in SIMON BOCCANEGRA’ in concert the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and in a staged production in Piacenza, furthermore he made his debut at the Performing Arts Center in Peking as ‘Renato’/UN BALLO IN MASCHERA.
His commitments in 2018 include his debuts as ‘Conte di Luna’ in Verdi’s ‘IL TROVATORE’ at the Teatro Petruzzellin in Bari, as well as ‘Sharpless’ in MADAME BUTTERFLY, ‘Paolo’/SIMON BOCCANEGRA at the Teatro Alighieri Ravenna, furthermore ‘LA TRAVIATA’ at the Opéra in Avignon/France, ‘Enrico’/LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR’ at the Stadtheater Basel.
In 2019, he will face some other new role debuts, among his already confirmed commitments: ‘Carlo Gérard’/ANDREA CHENIER, as well as ‘Marcello’/LA BOHEME, ‘Silvio’/PAGLIACCI and ‘Francesco Foscari’/I DUE FOSCARI.
